Short bio

Andrea Adami received the Laurea degree in Materials Engineering in 2003 and the PhD in ICT in 2010, both from the University of Trento, Italy. Since 2003 he has been researcher at the FBK-irst in Trento, Italy. His expertise include modelling, design and testing of MEMS devices for sensor applications. His research activities include Ion-Sensitive FET (ISFETs), tactile sensors, microcantilever-based sensors for bioaffinity and gas sensing applications, on-chip micro-columns for chromatographic systems in gas and liquid phase and membrane-based microheaters for gas sensor arrays.
