Short bio

Cristian Collini was born in Tione, Trento (Italy) in 1975. He received the master degree in Physics from the University of Trento in 2002. Since 2002, he has been Researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK)-Istituto per la Ricerca Scientifica e Tecnologica (IRST), Povo-Trento, Italy, Center for Materials and Microsystems, BioMEMS Group. In 2011 he got his PhD in Nanotechnologies at the University of Genoa. His research interests mainly concern Biosensors, Microelectromechanical Systems and micromachining fabrication processes, focused on silicon and polymeric materials as substrate and sensibility improvement by nanolayers and nanomaterials. He has also gained valuable experience in operating most standard clean-room equipment.
